Hey, there. I'm Oli.

I thought I'd use the medium of a blog to share some of my thoughts regarding my interests of tech and AI, health & fitness, football (soccer). It's going to be basic af but I will hopefully share some useful stuff. No hot takes or clickbait here.

I've had a varied career that's seen me go from accountancy and financial modelling to consultancy. And then to Robotic Process Automation (RPA), via stealth startups and a stint creating bespoke SQL costing systems on Harley Street. The common thread throughout has been that I've built systems, with code, that have done the heavy lifting for me. Now we're in the era of LLMs and a world of possibility has opened up. Whether you think they're hyped up word prediction machines or the source of AGI, you'll find I muse about them often, here.

GitHub is where I do write and share my code. Ocassionally, I do some interesting stuff. Outside of work, I'm mostly maintaining CodeCompanion.nvim.

I grew up in Lincolnshire and now live in London, UK. I'm an avid supporter of Sheffield United F.C..
